WHERE CURIOSITY MEETS REFLECTION
Alaskan Brown Bears with Kristoff Druva Wildlife
Four days in Lake Clark National Park meant tent camping in bear country, miles of hiking through muddy tidal flats, and unforgettable encounters with Alaskan brown bears. More than anything, it was an immersive wilderness experience led by someone who took both safety and bear ethics seriously.
Upcoming Workshops I’m Attending (2026, 2027, and 2028)
The workshops I’m planning for 2026 and 2027, shared as part of an ongoing learning journey.
Newfoundland Puffins - with Travis Layton (Trav in the Bush)
I went to Newfoundland hoping for glowing puffins in sunrise light. Instead, I got fog, rain, overcast skies, and some of my favorite images of the year. Along the way, I learned a few things about puffins, wildlife photography ethics, and why Newfoundland is a place I hope to visit again. This is my review of Trav in the Bush's Newfoundland Puffins workshop.
Escape to Nature - Haida Gwaii Workshop Review with Viktoria Haack and Monika Deviat
A week in Haida Gwaii took me further outside my comfort zone than I expected. Between learning landscape photography, adjusting to conditions I didn’t anticipate, and experiencing the depth of Haida culture, this workshop ended up being as much about mindset as it was about photography.
